Report Bayern-Trophy Feringasee 13.3.2022

On March 13th, on Tino's initiative, the Minicuppers met for the first time at Lake Feringa to sail out the Bavarian Cup. The organizing MYC Munich was able to welcome two female and 8 male sailors. After a brief greeting, we started a test run in a weak easterly wind, in which Angie already indicated her current form with a sovereign victory.
Then it was time to wait for the wind. After the stormy last few days, there wasn't much of it left and it only got a little better in the course of the afternoon. So we fought with tricky conditions, lulls and turns are just part of it at Lake Feringa. But that didn't detract from the good mood, it was sailed calmly and concentrated, there were hardly any violations of the rules and so 6 races could be carried out by Wolfgang, who had made himself available as race director.
Tino coped best with the conditions. No wonder, he has been sailing in this area for years. He won ahead of Gerd and Angie, Christian Hemmerich was fourth, and I qualified as rapporteur as fifth.
A nice day of sailing, thanks to the organizers and organizers, and from me many thanks to the MCler for the friendly and helpful inclusion in the class, I had a lot of fun sailing with you.
